Our young Venezuelan friend, Giuseppe Parra, continues to make more and more friends as he awaits his asylum court case.
He recently attended a large gathering of the Episcopal Church (above) held in Sandy Springs where he shared the story of his journey and helped to promote the work of the New Sanctuary Movement of Atlanta. He also visited a mission committee at North Decatur Presbyterian Church (below) to share his story of life in Stewart Detention Center.
I encourage you to take time to get to know Giuseppe.
His story is amazing and inspiring. Giuseppe is a guest in our church while he awaits future legal proceedings.
